Tree huggers, get excited!
The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) offers an excellent opportunity to be graced by the serene embrace of Mother Nature as you hike through its picturesque yet serene trails.
The Viridescent Facade Of FRIM
More specifically, this scenic area is a public spot located just on the outskirts of Kepong. Other than hiking, the forested zone is also suitable for various outdoor activities like jogging, cycling or just having a lovely picnic.
Hikers, in particular, will be ecstatic to know that FRIM’s forested area features a multitude of hiking trails to pick from. These trails include the Keruing trail, Salleh Nature trail, Engkabang trail, Sebasah trail, and the Razak Walk.
And as far as difficulty goes, FRIM features more of a leisurely hike with generally flat surfaces that you may complete in less than an hour or up to two hours — depending on the terrain of your route of choice.
