Video Of Alleged ASUS ROG Phone 3 Appears Online

ASUS is still quiet in regards to the existence of a sequel to their ROG Phone series. However, several recent findings from various sources have discovered that the ROG Phone 3 is allegedly real, and may see a launch within this year.

A live video of the phone had surfaced online via Chinese social media site Weibo, showcasing the ROG Phone 3’s design in its entirety. The video was taken down soon after, but was reuploaded by SparrowNews on their Youtube channel.

In line with our previous report, the video shows that the phone sports a high screen-to-body ratio display and favours a forehead placement for its front-facing camera rather than a notch or punch-hole cutout. On its back, it appears that the ROG Phone 3 is equipped with a triple camera setup, and also features a glowing ASUS ROG logo in the middle. The power button and volume rocker is situated on its right, while on the bottom is a USB-C charging port.

Not much is confirmed about the phone’s specifications, but a listing TENAA suggested that the ROG Phone 3 features a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, and is powered by a 5,800mAh battery. As usual, do take these speculations with a grain of salt.

It is not known when the company will officially announce the device in 2020. Although there is a possibility that the ASUS ROG Phone will be unveiled in the third quarter of this year, according to GSMArena.
